Responsibilities:

• Provide local and overseas management with relevant accounting information and proposals
• Streamline the accounting team's closing procedure
• Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Introduce IFRS within the company
• Ensure effective collaboration with external auditors
• Oversee and operate an assigned financial accounting system
• Mentor designated accounting personnel

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, or business
• 5+ years of experience in account closing
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A is ideal
• Accounting experience at a US or multinational firm
• Working knowledge of US GAAP, J GAAP, or IFRS
• Expertise in GAAP reconciliation to US GAAP
• MS Office competency
• Business level English; fluent level Japanese
